The joint Task 40 / EUBIONETIII Finnish country report [3,857 KB] illustrates the bioenergy trade trends in recent years: In 2007, the total international trading of solid and liquid biomass fuels was approximately 77 PJ, of which import was 62 PJ. While the amount of indirectly traded roundwood has been decreasing since 2006, both the export of wood pellets and biodiesel have been increasing.
